The Lawshredder Investigation Team, often abbreviated LIT, is a special legal organization chartered to catch the notorious serial killer Lawshredder.

Affiliates

There are a number of individuals who are affiliated with the LIT, but are not officially on the charter.

• Pheodora Chakravanti - In her capacity as a skilled undertaker at first, and since then as the Sigil City Coroner
• Worthington - As the Harmonium Inquisitor in charge of the Lawshredder investigation since Valiant's death, Worthington is functioning as the liaison between the LIT and the Harmonium

Sponsors

A number of Factions sponsored the LIT at it's inception.

• Fated - Factol Duke Rowan Darkwood provided the primary political backing for the establishment of the LIT.

Opponents

Factol Valiant of the Harmonium was the loudest public opposition to the LIT (see SIGIS - Valiant Renews Feud and SIGIS - LIT Ineffective). Factol Nilesia of the Mercykillers also crusaded to have the LIT disbanded despite initially supporting the charter. Once the azrai prevented Helios from manipulating Nilesia with a Dream Machine, she was no longer an LIT opponent.

Previous Team

Years ago Lawshredder was caught by the first Lawshredder Investigation Team. That team consisted of:

Legal Access

The LIT has been granted legal-access rights to the HUB by the city. This allows for them to make 10 HUB queries as long as they fall under the purview of the LIT charter as approved by judges in the courts of Sigil.

Operations

The Lawshredder Investigation Team has many current and ongoing operations which are intended to further their pursuit, capture or destruction of Lawshredder. Some of the more notable follow:

• Operation: Mjolnir - The weaponization of the Godstone of vengeance
• Operation: Memento - Penetrate the Eschaton controlled Civic Festhall in an attempt to decipher the contents of the sensory stone recovered in the Harmonium Vault
