Tell-Tale Flash

A tell-tale flash occurs immediately before the Memory Stone is activated. It has come to describe the entire process of activation, including the sensory input transferred to the subjects. To date, only Azrai are subject to the effects of a tell-tale flash.

Effects

A tell-tale flash incapacitates the subjects and then imparts upon them sensory information stored within. This sensory information is primarily visual and audio, but other senses are frequently experienced as well. Occasionally this information is in the form of a single scene, but it can also take the form of a number of scenes. When the information takes the form of a number of scenes, the scenes are punctuated with a tell-tale flash as well. The subjects of a tell-tale flash wake disoriented, but nearly instantaneously after they lost consciousness, regardless of the duration of the sensory information transmitted.
